The rescue truck responds to all reported fires, water emergencies, and motor vehicle accidents which require extrication of the injured.  The rescue truck is equipped with many specialized tools for motor vehicle extrications, repelling, river rescues, and mass casualty incidents.  Heavy Rescue certification can be obtained through The Bergen County Police and Fire Academy.
