The squad is also home to a 100' ladder truck.  The ladder truck responds to all reported structure fires and fire alarms.  Those interested in ladder operations must complete a Firefighter 1 course held at The Passaic County Fire Academy or North Jersey Fire Academy.  Once certified, you are eligible for regular membership so long as you have your EMT certification.  When you complete Firefighter 1, you are also permitted to ride other fire apparatus within the department.
